Growing up in the cultural hotbed of New York City, Anita Margolis spent much of her time in the city’s art galleries and museums. It was there that she learned the fundamentals of design. As a painter, she used this knowledge to create beautiful canvases.
A transition to interior design enabled Anita to combine her education in fine art and use it to create homes that were both stylish and comfortable.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Anita attended Syracuse University School of Fine Arts and the New York School of Interior Design. She began her distingushed career more than 30 years ago when she founded her own business, ANITA MARGOLIS INTERIOR DESIGN.
Her diverse projects have included everything from country cottages to Mediterranian villas, to a unique city apartment overlooking Central Park, to many homes in South Florida’s most exclusive communities.
Her work has appeared in publications and books including The Miami Herald, Palm Beach Daily News, South Florida Magazine, Southern Living, Florida Design, The Best of Florida Design and Spectacular Homes of South Florida.
